Oh, hello there!

Care to Join me for Some Shenanigans and Bafoonery?

Hi, I’m Natasha! Depending on where you’ve met me, Max works too. Solo Seattle is one of my many online homes.

Unless we’re including Discord or AO3.

We do not include Ao3. I have three profiles over there for undisclosed reasons. It’s so I can read smut.

“I can sum Max up in a few words. She likes DIY, plants, silk, and glitter. And she probably has glitter on her person right now.”

The Solo Seattle mission

Empowering you to love living life Solo

Because sometimes the hardest step is admitting that you can’t do it alone. But when you have to, might as well have fun with it. So come with me while we pick up a drill, some fabric, and a hot glue gun and let’s do something amazing.

“It’ll be a few weeks. I can knock out a few projects.”

I wasn’t expecting the pandemic to continue for a few years.

Five Quick Facts About Nat

  1. Yep, the hair is teal and I’m pretty sure it’s here to stay this time around.
  2. I love glitter, velvet, and DIY. Not necessarily in that order.
  3. I love lighting a space. Lighting can either make or break a room and I enjoy teaching others how to use it to their advantage.
  4. My space is mine to express myself through. It’s super important to me to feel comfortable at home, but even more important is how my visitors feel. Because if I’m calm, they soon will be.
  5. Spite is a powerful motivator.

Five Quick Bits About Solo Seattle

  1. Yes, you will see affiliate links. Yes, I’ll disclose them whenever I use them. And yes, I will (hopefully) earn a small commission from said links.
  2. I’m not afraid of a lot. Except for my brain and my not-so-infrequent bouts with social anxiety.
  3. Living in Seattle ain’t cheap.
  4. Yeah, there’s a Solo Seattle Youtube Channel.
  5. If I’m not at home, I’m probably hanging out with Al. Or Wing. Or Tania.

A Little Backstory

Hi, I’m Natasha, a 37-year-old sparkle (pronouns: she/her/hers) currently living in Seattle, WA. I hail from Cincinnati, Ohio, where I was born and raised until the Summer of 2017 when I traveled to the other coast to visit a city I’d only heard about, wanted to visit, but couldn’t afford to until that moment.

I realized while I sobbed into some gentle elder’s shoulder at the Sea-Tac Airport that I didn’t want to leave.

Originally slated to move in October 2018, a former coworker, all but threatened to fly to Cinci and pack me up himself if I didn’t move by, like, April.

So I moved in January.

But it hasn’t come without sacrifices. So many lessons were learned, often the hard way. But you’ll read about the rest over in the Solo Seattle Blog.

I’m also a project hummingbird. If I’m not working on Solo Seattle, there are probably four other websites and three other channels in the works! I’ll keep you posted here and over at Ko-Fi!
